We have an exciting summer internship opportunity (May-August 2011 timeframe) within our Operator Co-Marketing organization. Markets' strategic goal is to maximize the sale of Nokia's products, services and software, with a best-in-class demand supply model. The Markets team manages our supply chains, sales channels, brand and marketing activities, and is responsible for delivering our mobile solutions and mobile phones to the market. If you are a talented individual with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn about our business, join us as an Intern in our North America Headquarters in White Plains, NY. Once onboard, you will be working on a variety of projects to support the Operator Co-Marketing organization, which works with Operators and Retailers to promote Nokia and our services, which includes maps, apps, media, messaging, store and more.

We are looking for someone who will:

* Provide overall project and operational support to the Operator Co-Marketing organization
* Support the Operator Co-Marketing Communications Manager and Operator Collaboration Program Managers as well as department head
* Develop familiarity with Nokia, our services and serve as a Nokia ambassador of our products and services
* Research on youth-oriented sites, markets and environments regarding the development and future of mobile services
* Participate in weekly team calls and provide administrative support
* Work on special projects, including presenting their experience and peer feedback on Nokia and its services; their perception and awareness of the Nokia brand; offer feedback or recommendations from a youth perspective; and facilitate a Q&A session following their presentation
* Participate in the Global Nokia Summer Internship Program, which includes attending global info-sharing sessions, skill-building seminars, and networking activities

Qualifications

* All undergraduate majors welcome (Liberal Arts, Marketing, Sales, Business preferred)
* Freshman, sophomore, or junior's from accredited college/university only
* Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint
* Tech savvy; regular user of social networking sites and apps
* Flexible, eager to learn and work both independently and as part of a team
* Positive attitude and ethics
* Excellent communication, time management and interpersonal skills
* Good analytical and problem solving ability
